Is it possible to have a current plan of developments, particuarly with reference to how they impact on 475 Weston Road, ST3 6RE. We have had no contact for over a year and have had to go to the estate office again to ask for a copy of recent newsletters.

Many Thanks

Would be good to have plot numbers of the pictures.

Plots 71-72

Windows need interest. This unit loses its Bournville feel without. Works much better with 3 pane window at first floor as in 1A. Could also try this with double height bay to make it feel grander as one of our more imposing housetypes?

Plots 83-85

Breaks our rule of having more imposing elevations on corners for impact. Having 2 bed as central unit is wrong. Split between 84-85 looks strange and would have had more rhythm if joined with tunnel back. I think we need to re-design this unit to get kitchen off the front so we can have a larger window. First floor window wrong proportion and should be wider rather than taller (needs to be considered re prev comment) Again, without any glazing bars this unit is hard to appreciate as part of the Bournville image aspiration.

Bungalow (Plot???)

Agreed re robustness of porch posts. We should look at slight modification on porch to return dwarf wall to main wall of bungalow and add trellis screen to sides to increase cottagy effect. Are the roof trusses exposed? (Cant see from this pic but they certainly should be evident to give Bournville feel)

Colonial window/facia/lead

I love this window! Its a great find Rob. Facia is much better but lead is OTT. We need to see a sample before they apply it on any other unit. Dormer in this position is a bit cluttered with other roof geometry. Works better on 1A where 2 units are stand alone or next to simpler roof arrangement. Can we try this as a 3 pane window to get the wider look on future housetypes?
